Alan’s opinion on the proposed Central SRA:
The Interim Committee for the formation of the Central SRA have put a lot of quality work into the business plan for the Central Area. I am convinced that this Business Plan will enhance the area and also contribute to holding the Municipality to ‘account’ for Service Delivery. Much like a ‘conservancy’ the SRA looks to be the right vehicle for all residents to collaborate and make decisions that will enhance the area in such a way that property values will be positively affected. I am quietly confident that the rise in property values will far outstrip the amount paid to the Central SRA.
